We keep the information needed to run Longform Studio, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Data we keep
This includes account details, projects and the content you create or upload, billing and usage records, and basic technical logs. We keep it while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, keep it secure, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Analytics
We use PostHog for specific product actions and basic navigation. Page addresses are reduced to the site origin and a normalized route pattern before sending: query strings, fragments, page titles, detailed referrers, advertising click IDs, and private project IDs are removed. Analytics does not use cookies or browser storage, respects Do Not Track, and does not receive your email address or name. Automatic clicks, errors, performance, heatmaps, surveys, and session replay are disabled.
Services we use
Clerk handles sign-in, Stripe handles payments, PostHog handles analytics, and our production providers process the parts of a project needed to create your video. We share only what each service needs to do its job.
Your data
You can ask us to correct, export, or delete your account data. Some billing, security, or legal records may need to be kept for a limited time. Email support@longformstudio.app if you need help or have a privacy question.
