Production is charged at provider cost without a usage markup. There is no extra Longform Studio fee per video or per finished minute.
Questions
Is the $49 membership the entire cost?
No. The $49 membership unlocks Studio. Production usage is separate and paid from your dollar-denominated Production Balance. During beta, $30 is included with every paid month.
Do unlimited projects mean unlimited generation?
You can create and manage any number of active projects. Generating research, scripts, images, voice and renders uses Production Balance because those providers charge per use.
Do I need API keys or separate provider subscriptions?
No. Longform Studio connects the providers, runs the workflow, handles retries, stores the work and tracks the cost. You see a dollar estimate before paid work starts.
Can I add more Production Balance?
Yes. Members can top up $10, $25, $50, or $100 whenever they need more. Start with the included beta balance and add funds only when you are ready to produce more.
What happens if I choose Batch?
Eligible image generation costs 50% less. It usually finishes within 3 hours, but the provider allows up to 24 hours. Direct generation costs more and starts immediately.
